To Buy or NOT to Buy

So, my 12 year-old son is not unlike any other 12 year-old boy who goes to public school and has friends. He has been hearing a lot about Grand Theft Auto V and naturally he wants to get the game. So, I told him that we would do some research and find out what the game is all about. We went into a GameStop and asked about the game. This is what I was told by the employee there. I am paraphrasing, but you will get the point.

I was told that he had been yelled at already by serveral parents that were upset with him for not warning them about the game’s very adult content like strip clubs w/full frontal nudity on both men and women. He also warned us about the fact that on some missions you have to perform acts w/the strippers and take them home. There are also torture portions of the game where you have to rip out teeth, etc. Needless to say I wasn’t getting him the game to begin with, but after I heard that…well.

So, just FYI if you have the same situation at home. Just show them this post.
