The Star Spangled Banner

The real meaning behind the words that make up the Star Spangled Banner by Frances Scott Key. I found this on YouTube after hearing it on a local station in PA and was so moved that I knew you would want to hear it. I didn’t know this story and honestly have performed the Star Spangled Banner many times over the years not really knowing what I was singing about. This has changed all of that and I’m so glad that I was fortunate enough to hear it. However, I will probably never be able to sing it again b/c I’ll cry, so there’s that. Small price to pay though. The real meaning behind the words of the Star Spangled Banner as told by Pastor Dudley Rutherford of Shepherd of the Hills Church in Los Angeles, CA. He has a link on the video to purchase the DVD if you choose to.

Also, here is a link to the proper flag etiquette. There is a lot of good info in there. I had no idea!
