The Pillow Fight!

For years my husband and I have had a pillow fight every night! Not the kind that you had at sleepovers when you were a kid, but the kind where you are actually fighting with your pillow to make it comfortable! We both use 3 pillows each and we’re still not completely comfortable. So I brought it up for Will It Work Wednesday hoping you could help me. As always you came through with so many great suggestions. Here is what I learned from listeners.

  1. The Sleep Number store in the mall will make custom pillows for you. You can test them out while you’re there and find the right pillow for you. They also have memory foam pillows.
  2. Bamboo pillows are a thing and they are very comfortable according to Norma.
  3. Wool pillows are also a thing and apparently keep you cool and allow you to mold the pillow to your form.
  4. The “My Pillow” has mixed reviews from listeners, but most really like it. According to the My Pillow website they have a color coded system that helps you choose the right one for you and they have a generous return policy.

I read on Consumer Reports that you should choose a pillow for your sleep position. If you’re a side sleeper, back or stomach sleeper makes a real difference in which pillow you choose.

Do you have any more suggestions?
