Staycation Destinations

Today for Will It Work Wednesday we talked about great VA locations for your staycation this summer. Here is an article that I found from the Richmond Times Dispatch with some great ideas.

Rob Graham loves history and he suggested Crater and Wilderness. Loyal listener Bonnie Beach also recommended a great historical place to visit, Agecroft Hall. Here are more suggestions if you love history.

Marc loves Natural Bridge. Not only do they have the bridge, but they have the Wax Museum, Safari Park and Foamhenge.

Natural Tunnel was recommended by a listener today. A tunnel that you can walk through and has a lot of Native American history behind it.

Don’t forget right here in C’ville we have the “historic triangle” with Monticello, Michie Tavern and Ash Lawn-Highland.

Richmond has the Science Museum and the Children’s Museum and so much more!

I want to try out Massanutten Water Park.

If you’re interested in a particular city, you can typically visit the Chamber of Commerce website for that city to find the best activities in their city.

No matter what you do, have fun and keep the suggestions coming!
