So Blessed

I am blown away by your generosity. I had an original goal of $100 to raise for the Women’s 4 Miler race this weekend. I guess I wasn’t very confident going into this fundraising thing. However, once the donations started to come in I kept upping my personal goal. This past weekend I raised my personal goal to $500. I am happy to say that as of today I have surpassed yet another personal goal, all thanks to you!!! I am currently at $650! I am so encouraged by this. Since I still have 3 more days until the race, I am upping my personal goal again! Why not?? $700. Will you help me get there? ***Update~thanks to some new names on the list, I have surpassed $700. I’m at $725! Let’s go for $800! I have 2 days left!!!

I want to say “thank you” to…

There is still time to make a donation for this wonderful cause. Breast Cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death in women in the U.S. according to the American Cancer Society. The money that is raised through the Women’s 4 Miler goes to the UVA Breast Care Center and stays local. It goes to help w/research and early detection and makes the mobile mammography units possible for so many in our area that either don’t have health insurance or the money to get a mammogram.

I am honored to be a participant in this race and raising money for such a worthy cause.

Thank you to you if you sponsored someone for this race. You are making our community a better place to live, and I am thankful for you!

Sherry
