Road Trip Checklist

It’s roadtrip time and I realized two days ago that I wasn’t as prepared as I thought I was. I got a flat tire on the way home and I found myself in need of some items that I didn’t have in my car even though I had an emergency road kit.

So I am updating my blog with info from listeners so that we can help each other get prepared for anything this travel season!

These come directly from Facebook today:

Josephine Dalton First aid kit
Kate Knight Barrett And flares. Cell battery booster.
Les Sinclair Everyone should have, a screwdriver (flat & phillips), pliers, duct tape, a can of fix a flat, flashlight, blade of some sort, JUMPER CABLES, flares or reflectors, Rain poncho (or several garbage bags), space blanket, matches (preferably waterproof). …See More
Sherry Taylor tire guage
Les Sinclair Tire Gauge will fit in there too. Tho’ it should be in the glove box So you can check your tires & oil every time you fill up your gas tank. (also, the proper inflation for your tires is normally listed on a small graph on the inside of your car door. Proper inflation extends the life of your tires and saves gas MPG).
