Back in 2005, 6% of bank robbers were women . . . and last year, it was up to 7.5%.
The FBI believes it’s because the word got out that banks will just give a robber money whether or not they show a weapon . . . so women who are in a desperate place see it as a less violent and dangerous way to get their hands on money.
