Q: Researchers in Israel say teens who do this while driving make more mistakes than teens who don’t?

A: listen to music of their choice

TEEN DRIVERS WHO LISTEN TO MUSIC OF THEIR CHOICE FOUND TO MAKE MORE DRIVING MISTAKES: Researchers in Israel say teens who listen to music of their choice while driving make more mistakes than teens who don’t. To find this, researchers evaluated 85 new drivers by sending each of them on six challenging trips– two with music of their choosing, two with easy listening, and two trips without any music. Researchers say when the teens listened to their choice of music, 98-percent of participants demonstrated an average of three deficient driving behaviors in at least one of the trips. Without music, 92-percent of the teens made errors, and when driving with easy-listening music deficient driving behaviors decreased by 20-percent. (UPI)
