A: A busy road
KIDS WHO LIVE NEAR BUSY ROADS MORE LIKELY TO DEVELOP ADHD: New research finds that unborn babies exposed to more toxins from traffic pollution are more likely to develop attention deficit hyperactivity disorder than those who are not. The results come from a long-terms study of children born in Cincinnati between 2001 and 2003 who were followed by researchers from infancy to age seven. Researchers found that the kids who were exposed to the highest third amount of traffic-related air pollution (TRAP) during the first year of life were more likely to have hyperactivity disorders by the time they were seven years old than kids who lived elsewhere.
