Q: New Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology finds that this may make you better at negotiating?

A: exercise

EXERCISE IMPROVES NEGOTIATING SKILLS FOR SOME: New Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology finds that exercise may make you better at bartering. To find this, researchers found a group of participants who said they enjoyed bartering and a group of participants who said the opposite. They found that for those who enjoyed bartering, a quick workout before haggling improved their outcomes by seven-percent. The opposite was true for those who said they disliked bartering– exercise lowered their chances of successful bartering. Researcher say that it works out for those who like to barter because exercise quickens the heartrate which makes them feel excited and enthusiastic about the bartering. (Men’s Health)
