Q: New German research finds that doing this in your workspace can make you feel more creative?

A: dimming the lights

DIM LIGHTING CAN MAKE YOU FEEL MORE CREATIVE: New German reseach finds that dimming the lights in your workspace can make you feel more creative. Researchers found that compared to people working in normal or bright office conditions, those who worked in dimly lit rooms scored 16-percent higher on four different tests of creativity. Researchers say this happens because your physical environment helps determine your psychological mindset– so if you obscure the world around you by turning off the lights it creates a psychological atmosphere of freedom and openness that encourage the mind to be creative. Researchers say the effect can happen in a matter of seconds. (Men’s Health
