Q: Men are happier than women in long term relationships and this is the reason why?

A: cuddling

Men are happier than women in long term relationships and cuddling is the reason why. A recent study of more than 1,000 couples married for an average of 25 years shows that guys like kissing and cuddling, and were more interested in satisfying their partners, while gals were less content with their unions. The result could be a boost in health for males. “We know from other research that being in a long term relationship has some value to health,” says research leader Dr. Julia Heiman, director of The Kinsey Institute. Females in lengthy romances report being more fulfilled with their sex lives after they’ve been wed for 15 years or longer. “Possibly, women become more satisfied over time because their expectations change, or life changes with grown children,” says Heiman. “On the other hand, those who weren’t so happy sexually might not be married so long.”
