Q: Having this on your desk makes you more creative and productive?

A: A plant

HAVING A PLANT ON YOUR DESK MAKES YOU MORE PRODUCTIVE AND CREATIVE: Having a potted plant on your desk apparently makes for more than just good scenery. British researchers say a houseplant in your workspace has been found to aid concentration, increase productivity and boost wellbeing by 47-percent. To find this, researchers had 350 people measure their productivity, creativity and happiness in four differently designed work environments in a series of 90 experiments. Researchers say pariticpants recorded a creativty boost of 45-percent and a productivity boost of 38-percent when working in environments with plants. Researchers say the results of the study give “company managers a real incentive to share control of office space with their staff and create meaningful, less didactic and more group up space.” (Daily Mail)
