Q: Effects of this can last up to 2 weeks under the right circumstances. What is it?

A: Vacation

VACATION EFFECTS CAN LAST UP TO TWO WEEKS AFTER YOU COME HOME: New research from The Netherlands finds that the positive effects of a vacation can last long after you come home under the right circumstances. To find this, researchers studied 54-vacationers and found that those who got lots of sleep had roughly a 30-percent boost in health and well being two weeks after returning to work. Additionally, those who did passive activities, such as reading, while on vacation had a 40-percent jump in post-vacation juvenation. Study co-author Jessica de Bloom explains that the post-vacation health-boost stems from personal autonomy. (Men’s Health)
