Q: According to new research if you have this you are more likely to get sympathy and support?

A: Body Odor

BAD BODY ODOR MAKES PEOPLE MORE GENEROUS AND SUPPORTIVE: If you’re seeking sympathy you shouldn’t wear deodorant, according to new research. Researchers from Belgium found this by having over thirty volunteers smell one of two T-shirts. One T-shirt smelled foul while the other smelled more neutral. Participants were then told to imagine the T-shirt belonged to someone they worked with and were then given a test to see how they felt about their imagined co-worker. Researchers found that people who smelled the foul T-shirt had more pity for their fake co-worker than those who sniffed a neutral smelling shirt. Another, similar experiment found that people are more likely to show support toward bad smelling individuals than people who smell good. Researchers say, “We argued and demonstrated that a bad body odor elicits feelings of pity in others and increases prosocial behavior.” (Daily Mail)
