34 Percent Would “Never” Pick Up Boss’ Calls After Hours

Many Americans don’t want to hear from their bosses after clocking out for the night.  According to a poll conducted by communications company called GetVolP, 34 percent of respondents say they would “never”  answer a phone call from their most after business hours.  The majority however, showed some degree of loyalty to their employer.  Thirty-eight percent said they would “always” pick up, 17 percent said they would “sometimes” pick up and 11 percent would “rarely” pick up.  The numbers shoot up among workers who are in the highest income bracket.  Fifty-four percent of those earning 100-thousand dollars annually said they would “always” answer their boss’ calls.
