Q: A recent study says that people do this more after they exercise?

A: Drink alcohol

PEOPLE DRINK MORE ALCOHOL ON DAYS THEY EXERCISE: What do you typically consume after a work out? A new study reveals that people tend to drink more alcohol on days they’ve exercised compared to days they do not exercise. The findings reveal that the most popular post-workout alcoholic beverage choice is beer, and that both physical activity and alcohol intake increased for participants Thursdays through Sundays. Study leader David Conroy says, “It could be that people have to use all of their willpower and cognitive resources to get themselves to be active, and they don’t have enough willpower left to resist the temptation of a drink at the end of the day.” Other possible reasons: people want to reward themselves for a workout with alcohol, or mistakenly think alcohol is a good way to replenish fluids after a workout.(Time)
