ONE IN EIGHT AMERICANS RECEIVES A STARBUCKS GIFT CARD FOR CHRISTMAS: According to Starbucks, 1 in 8 Americans will get a Starbucks gift card for Christmas. According to the Chicago Tribune, Starbucks sold over two million gift cards alone on December 24th last year. Ryan Records, vice president of cards at Starbucks, told the Tribune, “One in every eight American adults received a Starbucks Card last holiday season, and we’re well on track for another record performance in Starbucks card sales.” (Fox News)
