A poll of 1,010 U.S. adults reveals there is some novelty to checking the mail:
— Overall, 41% say they look forward to checking the mail every day
— 58% say they don’t think much about it
— 94% say they have a very positive reaction to receiving a letter from someone they know (93% said the same of receiving a birthday, holiday, or greeting card.)
— 51% of people said getting an advertising card or flier was very negative experience
