A poll of 732 U.S. adults reveals the following:
— 38% said they go out shopping on Black Friday for the sheer “excitement/experience” of it all
— 23% who said they went out shopping on Black Friday last year say they’ve converted to mostly online shopping this year
— 46% of people say they intend to visit at least five different stores
— 15% say they don’t even beging Christmas shopping until Black Friday
— 26% say they prefer to get a head start on shopping at least two weeks before Black Friday
— 27% of people say they buy electronics on Black Friday
— 36% of women say they predominantly buy children’s presents on Black Friday
— 38% of men admit they hit the stores on Black Friday to buy things for themselves
