A poll of 400 adult children reveals the following:
— 63% of respondants said they think their dad is a better driver than mom. Repondents said mom is a worse “back seat driver” and asks for directions too often.
— Still, 54% said they’d rather go on a road trip with mom because she keep the car neater, chooses better music and will stop the car to eat when they get hungry.
— 74% said dad is more likely than mom to experience road rage, and is more likely to pass gas, drive too fast, and nod off while driving.
— According to the AAA, some 41 million Americans are expected to travel 50 miles or more from home during the Fourth of July holiday weekend, and more than 80 percent will travel via car.
