Parents and Their Kids Text 5,800 Times a Year

A new survey found parents and children spend an average of less than an hour face-to-face every day . . . but we make up for that by staying in constant contact.  Check it out . . .

  1. Parents and their kids exchange 5,800 texts a year.  That’s approximately 16 a day.
  1. They send 260 emails a year.
  1. They make 416 calls, which add up to 37 hours.
  1. And they have 208 interactions on social media.

60% of parents also admitted that sometimes they call or text one of their family members when they’re both home and they could just yell instead.
