A: Bring a friend
SHOPPERS SAVE MORE WITH A FRIEND: Shoppers looking to save money should not head to the mall alone. A new study from the University of Montreal found that consumers spend less when they bring along a friend or family member. Shopping with another person makes you more cognitively and emotionally alert and reduces your emotional attachment to a certain store. Researchers explain this prevents impulse buys and decreases the amount of money spent overall. (Daily Mail)
