Q: A new study says that holding this makes you seem friendlier?

A: a hot drink

STUDY: HOT DRINKS MAKE YOU APPEAR FRIENDLIER               The weather isn’t the only reason to swap your iced coffee for a warm cup of joe. A recent study found that people who hold a cup of hot coffee are perceived to have warmer personalities and to be more competent than those holding iced drinks. Why the association? Researchers believe the key lies in the fact that the insula, the area of the brain that processes temperatures like warmth, is also where impressions about others are formed.
