Q: A new study says that being friends with this person on social media could be bad for you?

A: your doctor

HAVING A FRIENDLY DOCTOR IS BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH: Are you chummy with your doctor? If so your health might be at stake. A new study finds that doctors should not add patients as friends on Facebook, hug patients, or allow patients to call them by their first names. A survey of 338 oncologists under the age of 40 reveals 59 percent said they found it difficult to tell the truth to patients they liked. Furthermore, 60 percent of the doctors admitted if they felt too close to their patients it could prevent them from making objective decisions about a person’s care. (Daily Mail)
