Q: A new study reveals that some men claim they like to do this to prove they are masculine?

A: eat extremely hot foods

MEN MAY PRETEND TO LIKE SPICY FOODS: Do you enjoy spicy foods? A new study reveals that some men claim they like to eat extremely hot foods to prove they are masculine, while women actually enjoy the sensation of the burn in their mouth. A number of participants were asked to rate a number of foods on a scale to assess their preference for spiciness, as well as complete a personality test. They discovered that women who tended to prefer spicier foods were interested in sensations, while men who preferred the spicy foods tended to be more reward oriented. The bottom line? The findings suggest men are attempting to show off when eating spicy foods, while women may actually enjoy the heat sensation. (Daily Mail)
