Q: A British survey finds a quarter of those polled say they’ve done this in hopes of impressing their boss?

A: Brought in baked goods

MANY ADMIT TO BAKING GOODIES FOR THEIR BOSSES IN HOPES OF A PROMOTION: A British survey finds a quarter of those polled say they’ve baked treats and brought them to work in hopes of impressing their boss. The survey covered two-thousand people and was administered by a sugar brand called Whitworths. A fifth of respondents said they have brought in store-bought cakes to work and passed them off as their own, and half of respondents admitted to lying about a co-worker’s baking skills to get on their good side. Additionally, one-in-ten of those surveyed over the age of 45 admitted to bringing baked goods to work in hopes of finding a romantic partner. (Daily Mail)
