50 percent of Americans have ditched their friends to stay home and watch television — and told a lie to cover their tracks. Ouch! That’s according to a recent survey by Cable On Demand:
- 24% have told their friends they are “simply too busy” to meet.
- 11% claim they’re “…coming down with something.”
- 11% just told their friends, “Ooops! I completely forgot.”
- 4% have faked a family emergency.
