Prince Didn’t Have A Will

Prince has a very complicated estate and since he didn’t leave a will, his death has caused a lot of work for those left behind. Why do people not draw up wills? Is there a fear that if they do they will die? James Cox of Michie Hamlett Law Firm in C’ville answers those questions and more. Can we afford it, do we even need to do it and what prompts most people to get their will done?

Llezelle Dugger, the Clerk of Court in the City also called into the show to inform people that knowing the location of the original WILL is so important. Having a copy is not good enough, it will take more time and money if you don’t have the original. Thank you Llezelle!

Here’s a link to another article that talks about wills and getting them done online. I am not endorsing the article, just passing it along. http://www.clarkhoward.com/cheapest-easiest-ways-to-do-will.
