New Year~ New Possibilities

I always look forward to the New Year because I am the type of person that like’s new beginnings. I like to know that I’m not “stuck” or that I’m not “done” with life. This means that when a new year comes around, my head is full of ways that I need to improve for the coming months. Knowing this about myself and knowing that I really need to choose just one thing to improve on, it becomes a process to whittle through all of the possibilities.

This year the one that is coming out on top is travel because I really need 2015 to be FUN! As much as I would like to take several months off and travel to exotic locations, I’m not talking about that kind of travel. I’m actually hoping to visit some places that I’ve never been to here in the good old U.S.A. My kids like to visit new places too and I would love to eventually, with them, visit every state in the U.S.

This is where I need your help. What are some of your favorite places in the U.S? What are your suggestions for me and my family? So far we have a trip to DC and possibly New York in the works. These trips are one to two day trips, so anything that we can do in just a few days is ideal. We have already visited WVA, NC and DC as a family, but I’m realizing that’s about it when it comes to the whole family. I would like to change that this year. We’ll start small and visit states closer to home this year, but it’s something that I would like to expand on over the next several years before the kids are gone and doing their own thing.

Would love to hear from you! Email me with your suggestions, sherry@z95.net.
