Guess What?

I found out over the weekend that my step son, Evan and his wife Ashleigh are pregnant!!! My husband and I are going to be grandparents. Then I realized… I’m going to be a grandma! How did that happen? I spoke with both of their mom’s over the weekend and they are so beyond excited as we all are. That child is going to be so loved!

It also got me thinking about “grandma/pa” names. Most people these days don’t want to be called “grandma or grandpa”. So, then what does your grand baby call you? Evan’s mom, Beth, says that she wants to be called “Mimi”. I like that one, but I have no idea what I want to be called. How did you get your grandma or grandpa name and am I delusional that I’ll actually have a choice? I hear that a lot of kids choose the name for you. 🙂

What’s your advice?
