Getting The Kids Outside!

Video games and the internet are really killing our outside time. A new study says that prison inmates get more outside time than our kids do! I would guess that they are getting more than most adults too. So how do we change that? Here is a great article that has good ideas on how to get the whole family outside. I go outside with my kids a lot b/c I need it too!

Luke Neer was on the show talking about it this morning and he said his favorite thing was to build forts and obstacle courses for his parents to go through.

Camping, nature walks, playing pick up basketball or soccer in the yard, climbing trees. All things I used to love to do as a kid and still great things to do outside!

What other suggestions do you have?
