Expiration Dates on Food

I had a conversation with a few friends last week about expiration dates on foods. In the U.S. we waste so much money on food! Not to mention that we’re wasting the food as well. Most foods have an expiration date or “best by” date. Those dates do not mean it’s time to throw away! Here is some great info from the USDA and some great tips from listeners.

Happy Earth Day!
