Did I Ruin Christmas?

It’s a question as old as time, “Are we using last years tree, or are we getting a real one this year?” This is a typical Taylor family question. This year our old tree is pretty done, so we agreed that we would get a real tree…if we could find one that we liked.

So…the one kid of ours that is very opinionated on all things Christmas, was not with us when we were looking for the tree. He decided to go to a friends house. Big mistake all around. WHY? Well, we couldn’t find a real tree that we liked, nor could we find the right artificial tree that fit everything we wanted. We’re weird. So what do we come home with? This!

And naturally it’s my fault b/c I forced everyone to get this tree.  I was told that I “RUINED CHRISTMAS!”  I like the tree and don’t mind that it’s small. We’re going to put more decorations up. I have a train, houses and lots of other things to add. He thinks we should take it back and get a 6 ft tree. What do you think? Did I ruin Christmas and should I take the tree back and get a bigger one? I told him that I would ask you and he anxiously awaits your answer! 🙂
