Cigarettes, Vapes and E-Cigs ~ What’s the Difference?

I was speaking with Katheryn Whitestone of the VA Dept of Health about the Great American Smokeout coming up this Thursday and I asked her a question that I’ve had for a while regarding cigarettes, e-cigs and vapes. I’ve heard so much about how e-cigs help you quit smoking and that vapes are nothing but water and flavor. However, Katheryn helped educate me on this. I’m glad I asked!

Elizabeth is 20 and heard the segment on the air and decided to call in and give us her take on how vapes are helping her quit smoking. She has been smoking for 3 years now.

The Great American Smokeout is coming this Thursday with activities at the Carver Rec Center from 7am-9am and again from 11am-1pm. Free food, activities and prizes! No registration needed! Get more details at 434-972-6244.
