Cars That Get The most Tickets

Cars don’t get tickets, drivers do. And 33.6 percent of drivers of the Subaru WRX know that because they have received at least one ticket for a traffic violation, according to a study by Insurance.com. The team analyzed data from 526 models and more than 557,000 recent Insurance.com customers to figure out which vehicles received the most traffic violations. And the Subaru WRX topped the list. Why? CBS News surmises that the car, which has a relatively inexpensive starting price, receives more tickets because it is favored by younger drivers, who tend to be more inexperienced and careless.

The top 20 vehicles that get the most tickets with percentage of drivers ticketed:

  1. Subaru WRX, 33.6 percent
