Adele Stole A Song?

Adele has a hugely successful album, so it’s normal that someone is going to try and get a piece of that. Adele has been accused of plagiarizing her record “Million Years Ago” which is on her latest album 25. According to BreatheHeavy.com, fans of the late singer Ahmet Kaya‘s record “Acilara Tutunmak” believe that Adele’s track “shares an uncanny likeness to his song” and are asking that he be credited. Kaya’s wife spoke with Turkish newspaper — Posta, on claims that Adele used the record and said that she believes Adele stole the record on purpose. Kaya’s wife added, “However, if she consciously did it, then it would be theft.”

  • According to Billboard, Kaya was a popular Turkish singer who died in 2000 while living in Paris in exile.

What do you think? Do these sound the same? They do to me!
