Q: A new study finds that this can attract women and also signal to other men that you are a potential love rival.

 A: Your dance moves

WHAT MEN’S DANCE MOVES COMMUNICATE: A new study finds that a man’s dance moves can attract women and also signal to other men whether he may be a potential love rival. Researchers from the University of Northumbria used 3D motion-capture technology and biochemical analysis to find the extent to which a man’s dancing gives clues about his physical strength and fitness. For the study, researchers tested the body strength of a group of 30-men, and then had them dance to a basic drum rhythm. 3D cameras captured the dancing, which was used to turn the men into digital characters, masking their appearances. Women and men were then asked to rate the virtual dancers on their dancing and physical qualities. Results show that both sexes found an association between a man’s hand-grip strength and his dance moves. The study was published in the American Journal of Human Biology. (Daily Mail)
