CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – In the wake of the controversy around the Federal Government reneging on its decision to give the Federal Executive Institute building to Charlottesville City Schools, new information has emerged regarding the process.  Up until this point, the University of Virginia and CCS were publicly identified as the applicants who had filed for consideration to be awarded the federal asset.  However, there was a third entity that applied, a private institution called Community Christian Academy.  This third institution was never publicly identified, but they went through the application process and now, their Executive Director, Dr. Kimberly Moore is inquiring why they did not receive more consideration upon the federal government deciding to to reconsider the University of Virginia’s application.  Sources have informed WINA News that Dr. Moore sent a communication to the families of the school outlining the process they went through and describing the decision of the school’s board to make their intent to obtain the property public.  In order to do so, Dr. Moore has accepted an invitation by WINA’s Rob Schilling to appear on the Schilling show to share their story and raise serious questions about the process surrounding the FEI building.  Rob Schilling’s show airs live on WINA from 12pm to 2pm on weekdays, and Dr. Moore will appear on the show on Monday, May 12th.  A podcast will be made available following the interview.
