RICHMOND, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Virginia Veterans Network (VVN), a new online platform designed to serve veterans, transitioning service members, and their families, launched on Veterans Day. VVN aims to streamline access to various services and support programs, including job training, healthcare, employment opportunities, legal resources, and peer support, all through a single, centralized location.

Governor Glenn Youngkin, speaking at the launch, described the network as a tool to assist Virginia’s nearly 700,000 veterans in connecting with essential services. Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears and Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs Craig Crenshaw also underscored the platform’s intended role in making resources more accessible for Virginia’s military community.

The Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS) developed VVN to connect users with a range of state and local resources.
