CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Indivisible Charlottesville Thursday afternoon is doing a protest rally for economic justice in front of the County Office Building as part of the May Day National Day of Action. Workers, parents, educators, students, and other community members will come together from 5-to-6:30 Thursday afternoon to demand the interests of working families and the general public be prioritized over the self-interest of millionaires, billionaires, and corporate elites. They’re joining pro-democracy protesters in over 1000 other US cities to rally against the Trump Administration, as they did at their April 5 “Hands Off!” protest at Stonefield Mall which turned out almost 5,000 people.
