Cavalier Wrestlers Running Youth Clinic Before Duke Duel at JPJ

Charlottesville, VA (virginiasports.com): The Virginia Wrestling team has two huge matchups on the way as the crucial part of conference combat has arrived.  They take on #10 Virginia Tech in the Commonwealth Clash on the road tonight at 7:00pm, before coming home for a February 7th battle with the Duke Blue Devils at John Paul Jones Arena.  Excitement for the match with Duke has been brewing for a while, and a legendary alumnus of the program is making sure that the fans who are coming to the match, especially young fans hoping to wrestle in the future, have an unforgettable experience.  In the hours before the dual, two-time NCAA qualifier and 2021 All-ACC wrestler Jake Keating will be hosting a youth clinic to instruct aspiring wrestlers with important tips in their current and future careers in the sport.   

The clinic will begin at 5:00pm and is available for free to anyone who has purchased a ticket for the dual, the purchase of an adult general admission ticket allows for the registration of up to four youth per adult ticket purchased.   

Tickets are required for both youth and adults for admission to the dual match. Upon signup for the clinic, a link is available to purchase tickets for the dual.
