CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Charlottesville Police and Fire responded Friday morning to a report of a suspicious package outside the Virginia National Bank on Arlington Boulevard off Emmet Street.
A call came in shortly after 10:30 a.m. about a duffle bag with unknown contents found in bushes in front of the building. First responders established a perimeter while investigating the scene.
Authorities maintained the area until the situation was confirmed safe.
