Albemarle Police seek endangered missing man in Afton area

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – UPDATE: Mr. Spencer has been found safe.

A large Friday morning police presence near rural Afton is related to a search for a missing cognitively impaired man.

Albemarle County Police are looking for 42-year-old Daniel B. Spencer, who was last seen walking in the 9200 block of Critzer Shop Rd. at approximately 2:30 a.m. Friday, according to an ACPD alert.
