Jason got into radio as a young kid while listening to a local AM station that played old-time radio shows like The Shadow and Jack Benny. Then as a teenager he discovered the BBC radio version of The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy. Jason is clearly a nerd. He’s worked in radio all over the U.S. and in Japan. He’s also been a full-time musician, playing saxophone and percussion with salsa bands and funk bands and singer-songwriters. Jason is new to the Charlottesville area and excited to meet all of you and explore what this town has to offer. (And yes, Jason wrote this and is talking about himself in the third person.)
