Join us for a workshop focused on the challenges involved in researching African American family lines. Focus on what records and resources are available for breaking through barriers created by slavery exploring what records exist in Louisa County to overcome brick walls.

This event is free and open to the public! Bring your questions! We love learning about your families as we work through these common problems and puzzles
