It’s Socktober

There’s a good chance you ‘re wearing them right now. When they’re dry and clean and comfortable they make your life better. They protect us from the cold, they cushion our souls and help us stay clean and dry. But when they’re cold, wet, and dirty…you’re miserable. There’s a good chance that you haven’t even thought about yours since you put them on today. But many in our community need them.

This month we’re highlighting the importance of socks. We’re calling it Socktober. Our goal is to remind you how important socks are to the homeless community and ask for your help.

Think how hard it to function when your feet hurt. Imagine having to do that all day every day.

So, during Socktober we’re reminding you how important socks are. We think no one should have to go without clean comfortable socks… unless they want to. If you have enough to share, during the month of Socktober we’re asking you to just buy some socks and donate them to a homeless shelter. They’re among the most requested items there.

By providing a change of socks, YOU could change the world or at least one person’s life in it.

Help someone get back on their feet again during Socktober… another outstanding community event with Z95.1
